Cox Bone Dust Collector
Collects bone during the laminectomy portion
of a lumbar spine decompression and
fusion procedure

OTOMED's small bone dust paté collector has been used by Otologists for more than 25 years with very positive results. Now, to meet the needs of Orthopedic doctors who require the collection of larger amounts of bone, we are introducing our new Cox Bone Dust Collector. Working with Sherie Cox, a registered nurse from the University of Utah, we developed a collector with a larger capacity and two screens. When the first screen is full, simply remove and insert the second screen!

The Cox Bone Dust Collector allows the Orthopedic surgeon to collect the desired amount of bone and saves valuable time in surgery.

  • An easy-to-use device inserted in the suction tubing for collecting autogenous bone during surgical procedures.

  • The lightweight, unit's capacity is 7.71 sq. inch filter area and contains two 80 mesh stainless steel screen that filters the bone dust.

    Sterile, disposable and latex free.
