OTOMED Eye Protector Designed to protect the eye following surgery or injury, the Eye Protector is held in place by means of an elastic strap and Velcro™ fasteners. Featuring a flexible plastic dome that functions as a shock absorber and large caliber vents that promote ventilation, the Eye Protector also features foam padding that maximizes patient comfort. In addition, the vents allow for limited vision, and the plastic dome is conceived so that patients who wear glasses can continue to use them during recovery. During the initial recovery period, it is recommended that a small piece of tape be placed at the top and bottom of the Eye Protector to prevent dislodging. Care should be used in both positioning and removal. Improper placement or dislodging of the Eye Protector could result in injury to the eye. The Eye Protector may be cleaned by wiping with a mild soap solution. To rinse, simply wipe again. Do not soak or the base pad may come loose. This product contains latex. | |||||||||||
